We can dream of the ephemeral and build the sustainable.
Since Decoroom was founded, we have been committed to a CSR approach,
rewarded by ISO 20121 certification, for a more sustainable approach to events.
Our commitments
Supporting the sustainable ephemeral project means translating our commitments into every stage of our event activities...
We are committed to a responsible approach based on essential markers
and we are committed to meeting the challenges we face on a daily basis to achieve our objectives.
We respect the highest human, economic and environmental standards.
This commitment has been recognized for the past 2020 by ISO 20121 certification, for a more sustainable event industry.
57 %
Yes, our teams manufacture more than 57% of our rental products in our own carpentry workshop !
They guarantee every customer an exclusive, sustainable range, enabling every organization to express its CSR commitment right through to its events.
30 tons
As part of the Objectif CO2 Charter, Decoroom is committed, as a furniture transporter, to reducing its GHG emissions.
By restricting our trucks, training our drivers in eco-driving and using performance management tools, we have saved 30 tons of CO2 over the last 3 years !
25
In the office, in the workshop, in the warehouse, on the road or in the field, we are a close-knit team of 25 employees who are specialists in their field.
It's a team on a human scale, where everyone is encouraged on a daily basis to develop their independence, sense of initiative and responsiveness !
commitments
We are committed to limiting the impact of our activities on the environment by adopting eco-responsible practices.
We are continually increasing the proportion of eco-designed furniture in our range, ensuring sustainable choices for our customers.
Our finished products are designed to last, reducing waste in a circular economy.
We cultivate a sense of community with responsible management to strengthen the commitment of our employees.
We fight against social exclusion and ensure that everyone feels they have their rightful place.
Our CSR commitments foster an inclusive and supportive working environment, where every voice counts.
We aim to become the specialist furniture rental company for sustainable ephemeral events.
As a pioneer, we want to promote best practices aimed at making the event industry more sustainable.
Our CSR commitments propel us towards an innovative and responsible future.
Éco-design
Decoroom
At Decoroom, we've been committed to an eco-design strategy for our event furniture for 15 years.
Eco-design involves integrating environmental criteria right from the product creation phase :
The benefits of this approach are manifold: reduced environmental impact, improved product quality, lower long-term costs thanks to more efficient use of resources.
Every member of our staff is involved in this eco-design strategy. We think together about the products to be created, improved or developed; each person's business expertise gives us a 360° vision, resulting in furniture that is both design-led and sustainable.
Our products are available for rental, offering a sustainable alternative to purchase. This approach reduces overproduction and enables optimum use of resources.
After each use, our furniture is carefully inspected and maintained. Parts in good condition are reused for future events, prolonging the life of our products.
At the end of their life cycle, our furniture components are recycled. Recovered materials are reintroduced into the production cycle, minimizing waste and contributing to a circular economy.
ISO 20121 is an international standard for responsible event management. It provides guidelines for integrating sustainable practices into the planning and organization of events, aimed at reducing their environmental, social and economic impact.
Together with all our employees, the lifeblood of the company, we launched and obtained ISO 20121 certification 5 years ago. Pioneering at the time, this approach is now part of the industry's common desire to move towards a more responsible approach to events.
Each year, we are audited by the independent certification body Bureau Veritas. These audits assess the compliance of our responsible management system and our various processes with the requirements of the standard. They ensure that we consistently and effectively integrate sustainable practices into all aspects of our business, from the design and manufacture of our furniture to its rental, maintenance and recycling.
This structuring and demanding standard challenges us on a daily basis! We are following a precise action plan, monitoring our indicators and working together with our customers and partners on this virtuous journey.
Committed to a sustainable approach, we are proud of our ISO 20121 certifications and our partnership with ADEME “Objectif CO2” to reduce CO2 emissions related to our transportation activity. In partnership with professional groups, we strive to provide high quality responsible event solutions.
